Workshop Tour
Visiting places like Reaching Out can turn simple sightseeing into a fulfilling experience which benefits both the visitor and the local community. Ethical tourism promotes mutual understanding and sustainable local development.
We welcome both individuals and groups. Tour groups can be arranged for a 15-20 minute guided tour of our workshop with an introduction to our artists and an explanation of how our products are made (free of charge). Your group will be able to see several of our artisans at work in traditional Vietnamese handicrafts such as brass work, weaving, sewing, embroidery and paper crafts.
Of course, no tour would be complete without some time to linger in the shop. Our sales staff will be happy to answer further questions about our products and assist with purchases.
Come and enrich your travel experience!
Tour leaders should contact us in advance so we can be sure to accommodate your group. As the workshop is open to the public regularly, impromptu tour visits are acceptable. However, we can not guarantee a guided tour without advance notice. We recommend that tour groups be limited to five people so that all participants can see closely the techniques used and have an opportunity to speak with the artisans. If your group is larger, we can schedule the tours back to back so that all of your guests have a quality experience.
